The Magic Jack Is Not For You If…
You Live Outside the United States Or Canada. While the Magic Jack works anywhere where there is internet connection, the Free trial offer is only available to US and Canadian citizens.

One year into using the Magic Jack and I can’t image what life would be like without it. The Magic Jack is cheap, it is easy to use and install, and has great call quality. It is one device that truely deserves the 2009 Product of the Year Award, and 5 star rating from me. But sometimes, a product does not live up to what is advertised. Here is what I discovered while putting the Magic Jack to the test:
Installation
The Magic Jack is plug-and-play and really does take only 5 minutes to install. After plugging the device in, the software will automatically install for you. You then choose your phone number, with local area code, and you’re ready to start using it.
Operation
I find the Magic Jack to be very user friendly. There is nothing complex about it. After setup is complete, you can use any full featured phone that you would like and make local, long distance, and international calls. It is just like any phone service, but it only costs $20/year.
All computer types, Windows and Mac, are supported and work seamlessly with the Magic Jack.
Durability
The Magic Jack has lived up to my durability test. I’ve been using it for over a year now, and never had a problem with the hardware or the software. Even when my computer got a virus, the Magic Jack ran perfectly.
