Dear Pac Arts Family,It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share with you news of the passing of Cynthia Kashiwagi on Saturday, September 2, 2017. All of us at Pac Arts are devastated and heartbroken from the loss of one of our own.As Development & Engagement Director, Cynthia was the heart of our staff, embodying the compassion Pac Arts endeavors to share with the world. Shaped by her own personal experiences, Cynthia engaged with audiences, members and community leaders to bring meaningful stories to marginalized and underrepresented communities. Beyond Pac Arts, Cynthia's passion for service included extensive volunteer work within San Diego.After completing a degree in Ethnic Studies at the University of California, San Diego, Cynthia started as an intern at Pac Arts, growing to serve as Chief Liaison and then as Development & Engagement Director.Please keep Cynthia's family, her loved ones and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
