SPOTLIGHT SCREENING: LONG LIFE, HAPPINESS & PROSPERITY

Pacific Arts Movement is proud to announce our first Spotlight Screening of the year as LONG LIFE, HAPPINESS & PROSPERITY, a film by Mina Shim who is also the director of our 2018 SDAFF Spring Showcase opening night film. Co-presented by the San Diego Chinese Women’s Association, the Chinese School of San Diego, and Asian Pacific Alliance of County Employees – APACE.

In this character driven drama about hope and the importance of keeping faith in this sometimes difficult world, a young Chinese Canadian girl uses Taoist magic to help improve her single mother’s financial and romantic life, with unexpected results. Starring Sandra Oh (Grey’s Anatomy), Valerie Tian, Chang Tseng (These Arms of Mine), Tsai Chin (The Joy Luck Club), and Ric Young (The Last Emperor).
