If you can imagine how tough it is to take an idea, make it into a screenplay, then turn that screenplay into a film… just imagine what it’s like taking 100 films, and trying to slide the themes and characters into one smooth trailer. A trailer that will play before thousands of people at SDAFF!
I started picking through films weeks ago, picking bits from here and there. It’s not just pretty pictures, you have to tell a story with film – or, more appropriately, 100 films. Happy, sad, love, hate, emotion, emptiness… all in 1:45, with no dialogue.
Tonight, I put the finishing touches on the trailer. I can’t show it to you yet (sorry), but I can show you what the finished timeline looks like!
