POSITION SUMMARY
Pacific Arts Movement is seeking passionate individuals to join our team as Community Outreach and Engagement Volunteers for the San Diego Asian Film Festival (SDAFF). As a volunteer, you'll play a pivotal role in connecting our festival with diverse communities and spreading awareness about the vibrant Asian and Pacific Islander cinema showcased at SDAFF.
- Assist in planning and executing outreach initiatives to engage with local communities and cultural organizations.
- Represent SDAFF at community events, film screenings, and cultural festivals to promote our programs and initiatives.
- Distribute promotional materials and engage with community members to raise awareness about SDAFF events, screenings, and special programs.
- Collaborate with the outreach team to identify new partnership opportunities and expand our network of community collaborators.
- Support the coordination of community-based screenings, workshops, and other outreach activities leading up to and during the festival.
- Collect feedback and insights from community members to inform future outreach strategies and programming decisions for SDAFF.
DURATION AND COMMITMENT
This is a volunteer position with a flexible time commitment, allowing you to contribute based on your availability and interests. Volunteers may choose to participate in specific outreach events or projects leading up to and during the festival. While some activities may be conducted remotely, availability for in-person events in the San Diego,CA area, especially during the festival period, is preferred.
