POSITION SUMMARY: Join the San Diego Asian Film Festival's dynamic team! Video Production Interns will have the opportunity to produce or assist in the production, editing, encoding, and promotion of content distributed across broadcast, digital, and on-screen platforms. Past Video Production Interns have produced, shot, and edited content for Spring Showcase, Chew The Scene, and the San Diego Asian Film Festival.

  • Create and edit film content for Pacific Arts Movement, its events and programs
  • Organize, cut, optimize, and distribute content for various digital and social platforms
  • Contribute ideas to possible features that will showcase the organization
  • Work in conjunction with multiple teams to create compelling content

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Our ideal candidate would possess the following skills and traits:

  • Demonstrated interest in video content production
  • Experience with graphic/design/editing software including Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro
  • Experience with social media platforms

DURATION AND COMMITMENT: This volunteer internship requires a commitment of 15–20 hours per week. While some activities may be conducted remotely, availability for in-person events in the San Diego, CA area, especially during the festival period, is preferred. Flexible scheduling is available to accommodate academic or personal commitments.
